A Day of Worship, Remembrance, and Reunion

Join us for a special Homecoming Sunday as we gather to celebrate God’s faithfulness to Stancil’s Chapel — past, present, and future. Homecoming is a cherished tradition where current members, former members, friends, and family return to reconnect, remember, and rejoice together in the Lord.

This day reflects our church’s commitment to “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together” and to “watch over one another in love,” as expressed in our covenant. It is a time to honor the generations who have built and sustained our church, to remember loved ones who have gone on before us, and to celebrate the unity and fellowship that define our church family.

Schedule of Services

🎶 Special Music – 9:45 AM
Begin the morning with uplifting songs of praise by Right Road Trio made up of 4 incredible singers. They'll be singing some songs from their newest album, "A place to belong."

📖 Worship Service – 11:00 AM
We welcome back Preacher Fred Crank, who will bring a message of encouragement rooted in God’s Word, reminding us of the hope and truth that anchor our church.

🍽️ Homecoming Lunch & Fellowship – 12:00 PM
After the service, stay for a delicious meal and a sweet time of fellowship. This shared table reflects our calling to unity, hospitality, and Christian love.

Homecoming is more than an event — it is a celebration of God’s goodness and a reminder of the strong foundation on which Stancil’s Chapel stands. We invite everyone to come home, reconnect, and rejoice with us as we thank God for His blessings and look forward to all He has in store.

All are invited for some good gospel singing, bible preaching, and a southern lunch and fellowship.
